Educational tourism in Greece

Is summer 2022 the summer life will go back to normal again? This certainly seems to be the case in Greece that saw tourists flooding its corners this Easter after two years of lockdowns and travel restrictions.

Traveling for experiences

After two years of travel restrictions, fear, and second thoughts about doing anything we once considered everyday life and despite ongoing war in Ukraine, tourists are finally coming back.

According to data people will visit Greece this summer to combine summer holidays with an experience. For some this experience might be agritourism. For others it might be culinary tourism. And there are those who are combining their holidays in Greece with education.

Traveling for education

Our School organizes two summer programs in Greece that are a great fit for children and adults who want to combine their holidays with an experience.

The Greek Immersion Course for adults who wish to improve their speaking skills in Greek in just 9 days is hosted from June 15th to June 24 at the historic School of Spetses.

We have built a program for adults who are traveling to combine a language course with their summer holidays. The program includes daily morning lessons, lots of free hours for beach, tours and culture visits and special experiences that will immerse learners and travelers in Greek culture. Cooking and dancing classes, wine tasting and movie nights are amongst the activities that will offer people a relaxing holiday experience and an insight into the Greek language and culture in one of the country’s most important cultural centers.

Greek Summer School for kids

Then there are the kids who will travel to Greece with their parents’ and grandparents’ encouragement in order to improve their language skills.

Greek kids from all over the world will travel to the Greek Language Summer Camp at the Ranch in Sofiko to make friends and attain great skills. They will leave with a summer experience that will include Greek lessons, sports, nature walks, environmental projects, and most importantly warm memories of Greek summer with friendships that they will keep for a lifetime.
