They have been specially trained to deliver our courses in the most effective and interactive method via our virtual classrooms. Καλώς ήλθατε, Welcome! I am the Founder & CEO of The Greek Online School. In my role as CEO, I combine my educational and technology studies with my passion to support our growing team of teachers and students. I received my BA in Greek Literature at the University of Patras, Greece and my MA in Information and Communication Technology at the Institute of Education, UCL. I have an extensive experience in delivering online training programs to professionals and I have been a guest lecturer on several events and organizations, including Athens University of Economics and Business, London Business Centre & Deutsche Bank. Born and raised in Greece, I moved to London with my husband in 2014. Being an expat myself, I invite everyone who wants to stay close to the Greek language and culture to join us!

Γεια σας! I graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree in Greek Philology, specialized in Medieval and Modern Greek Studies. Then, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Folklore Studies and I am currently a PhD Candidate in the same department. I have been teaching Greek in Athens since 2009, but now The Greek Online School is giving me the opportunity to share my knowledge and love for the Greek language with students from all over the world! Drawing upon my teaching experience and my academic background, I will not only help you to learn Greek, but also to discover the Greek culture and unique characteristics of our people. I started teaching Modern and Ancient Greek in Greece in 2013, so I find the idea of teaching Greek to non- native speakers and the love of so many people for my language, really motivating and inspiring.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Modern Greek Philology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Masters Degree in Modern Greek Literature from the University of Cyprus. Ι have also completed the distance learning course “Routes in teaching Modern Greek as a second/foreign language” of the Centre for the Greek Language in Thessaloniki. I taught Greek as a foreign language for 7 years at the School of Modern Greek at the University of Cyprus, Cyprus College (European University Cyprus) and the last 5 years at The Greek Online School as Head of Academic Quality & Assessment, and Head of the Ellinomatheia Exams. I regard The Greek Online School as an excellent educational environment, promoting interactive and interesting learning, as well as enhancing cross-cultural education.
