Placement tests for Greek Language Students
Who are the tests for?
In this section, you will find placement tests, which have been designed to help teachers place students into their appropriate level class for a Greek language course. Also, they help students to assess and identify the approximate level of their Greek writing skills.
Why take the test?
Your placement test, along with your performance during our school’s Trial Lesson, allows our teachers to identify your exact level of Greek and place you into the appropriate class.
Things to know about the test.
- Provide us with your email before you start taking the test
- All tests consist of 30 multiple choice questions
- All questions need to be answered

- Maximum score is 30 points
- Click submit to view your total points and receive automated feedback
- Send us an email with your score after completion
- Book your free trial lesson if you haven’t already
Beginner - Low Intermediate
Do not take the test if you do not know any Greek. If your score is less than 26 points you are A1 and if you score more than 26 points you are level A2 but also take the A2-B1 test to check if you are B1.
Low Intermediate - Intermediate
Do not take the test if you do not know any Greek. If your score is less than 26 points you are A2 and if you score more than 26 points you are level B1 but also take the B1-B2 test to check if you are B2.
Intermediate – Upper Intermediate
Do not take the test if you do not know any Greek. If your score is less than 26 points you are B1 and if you score more than 26 points you are level Β2 but also take the B2-C1 test to check if you are C1.
Upper Intermediate – Advanced
Do not take the test if you do not know any Greek. If your score is less than 26 points you are B2 and if you score more than 26 points you are level C1. Also, if you wish to take C1-C2 test please contact us.
