What a magical journey it has been! Our 2025 Greek Immersion Course has officially concluded, and our hearts are full. This year, we welcomed 35 wonderful participants from across the globe to the island of Spetses for 9 days that blended language, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Over the course of 9 immersive days, our participants dived into around 30 hours of Greek lessons, surrounded by the sounds, smells, and spirit of Greece. These weren’t just classes—they were vibrant conversations, spontaneous songs, shared discoveries, and true immersion in everyday Greek life.
The course wasn’t just about grammar and vocabulary. Participants enjoyed tastings of traditional Greek wines, learning the stories behind their production, they tried Mediterranean flavors using all of their senses and learned Greek dances from all around Greece all with the help of our amazing collaborator, Thimisis .
This course is not just a one-time event—it’s part of the ongoing legacy of the Anargyreios School of Spetses, a place where modern tools meet timeless heritage. Together, we proved once again that Greek is not just taught. It is lived, celebrated, and passed on with joy.
Whether beginner or advanced, every student left with new confidence, new friends, and a deeper love for the Greek language. And as one of our students said at graduation, “We all came as strangers, and we leave as friends.”
