Evaluation: punishment or reward?

Evaluation

The word “evaluation” sounds frightening to most of us. It’s inevitable, though, since we have to deal with it in every aspect of life. However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

What if keeping track of your progress is something positive? Something that will help you thrive, that will motivate you to keep up the good work or start making a bigger effort which will lead you to progress more? Evaluation is positive! We shouldn’t be afraid of it! On the contrary, we should seek to receive it since it can motivate us, introduce us to self-criticism, and make us better.

That’s why our students’ evaluation will start to take place 3 times a year (November 1st, February 1st, May 1st). This process aims to record their progress, help them set higher goals and keep them focused throughout the school year.
