Regarding the program, I could not be more satisfied with my teacher and with the progress I have made in the past few months. She has been extremely effective in shaping the program to fit my specific needs and has been able to tailor each lesson to match my rate of retention. After just spending 2 weeks in Greece I was able to immediately recognize the progress I have made and am thankful for her dedication to my improvement.

I’ll write this in English so I can truly express myself. As my husband and I were listening to our children’s responses today, he said, “In 7 short weeks they have surpassed what they did in 3 years going to the church Greek School”. He’s absolutely right. Not only are they retaining what they have learned from their teacher, their excitement for their lessons makes me want to cry tears of joy.

I am on my second set of lessons at The Greek Online School, and I intend to continue with more, after I've finished this set. I am very pleased with the improvement in my Greek conversation and writing, as manifested in recent conversations and correspondence I've had with Greek friends and family. My instructor is energetic and engaged, and she uses a variety of materials to keep the lessons lively, interesting, and challenging.

Being married into a Greek family I have always wanted to improve my Greek language skills but have found it very hard to find the time given my busy lifestyle until I came across The Greek Online School. My kids have learned more Greek in ten lessons, thus far, than they had learned in one year of attending Greek school last year. Their teacher is brilliant and covers each lesson thoroughly without rushing and with a lot of patience. If one of my child has difficulty with a certain aspect of the content that is being taught, she makes sure that they fully understand before she proceeds. Her weekly revision/repetition exercises reassures both of us that my kids are learning and progressing steadily.

The Greek Online School is my first experience of online language learning. At first I was very skeptical about the idea but that was up until my trial class. E-learning has obviously got its advantages. The presentation is clear and concise, the materials are carefully reviewed by the teacher and sent to me after each class. I love the mix of activities and the fact that I actually speak despite being an absolute beginner! I am very grateful to my this School for preparing such enjoyable classes.

As a third generation Greek-American, Greek was not spoken in my childhood home nor was I “forced” to attend Greek school. Not speaking Greek is one of my few regrets in life.To achieve proficiency, I spent some time in Greece, bought Rosetta Stone, and watched some YouTube videos, all of which helped, but not enough to make a difference. One day a LinkedIn post captured my attention, an advertisement for The Greek Online School. It seemed like an appropriate solution for proficiency and it really proved to be! The instructor is great and supplements the book with additional vocabulary and phrases to assist in daily conversations. She adjusts her teaching to to mine and my son's level. This is the first time I have really enjoyed a language class.

My teacher at The Greek Online School is an excellent teacher. She is patient and intuitive. I have tried to take lessons many times before. This is the first time I felt really encouraged to continue and that I might actually be able to speak Greek properly some time in the near future.
